Step-by-step
Step 1
Lay the denim over the bowl and cut it into strips so that the fabric covers the bowl completely. Fold the fabric pieces over the top edge of the bowl and secure them in place with bulldog clips.
Step 2
Spread fabric stiffener over the denim.
Step 3
Distribute it thoroughly with the paintbrush until the fabric is wet all over.
Step 4
Cover up with masking film any part of the bowl you don’t want painted.
Step 5
Now you can start spraying the vibrant amber colour. We recommend you spray at a distance of around 25 cm, using horizontal and vertical strokes to ensure a more even coverage. Leave the paint to dry for approx. 30 mins.
Step 6
After drying, mask off another section and continue spraying with the pastel yellow. When everything is completely dry, carefully remove the masking film.
