It’s really easy to mix colours with the edding 1340. For each gradient, you’ll need two brushpens. For the pink-yellow gradient, for instance, add the pink pen to the top of the Colour Mixer and the yellow to the bottom so that the tips touch. Hold the Colour Mixer vertically and wait for 1–2 seconds.
Once the yellow pen has absorbed the pink shade, you can start to create your gradient. Your brush strokes will start out as bold pink and gradually change into yellow, as in the words ‘gin’ and ‘tonic’. You can mix together any colours you want using the Brushpen Colour Mixer. You won’t believe how many incredible colour combinations you can come up with!
For the remaining words, we used a black pen. You could use different writing styles for your lettering, whether using cursive text or block capitals, narrower or wider letters. Try experimenting with different techniques. Once you’ve finished your design, cut out the words and remove the film from the back of the sheet.
You can now arrange your DIY fridge magnets on the fridge door however you like.
