Step-by-step

Step 1
For our design, we chose the classic edding 3000 with a medium wide nib. Simply choose your favourite colours. The boxes can be made out of any sort of light-coloured material, as the permanent marker ink will always stick.

Step 2
In this photo, you can see how we decorated a plastic box with the link to a particular music track.

Step 3
A metal tin is easy to label using the permanent marker.

Step 4
When writing the card, you can play it safe by first sketching out the text in pencil. Once you’ve done that, go over it in permanent marker, embellishing the lines however you want. You can create an amazing look by mixing and matching various styles of writing in different font sizes.
