Step 1
On a sheet of paper, first practice the words you want to write, to see which style you like best. You can write in script or block letters, make the letters rounded or angular, or simply colour them in. Sketch the letters and wording faintly in pencil on the notebook cover.
Step 2
Next, go over the lettering with the gloss paint markers. Use a combination of large and small letters and highlight some of with a second colour. The fine-tipped edding 780 is good for shading and adding delicate decorative features such as flourishes and dots.
