Step-by-step
Step 1
For styrofoam crafts and when you want to spray paint polystyrene objects such as moulded frames and ornaments, it’s particularly important to prepare the base material. On a large covered surface, first spray several coats of edding Polystyrene Primer at a distance of approx. 20 cm. To build up an adequate protective layer you should spray at least four coats of primer at two-minute intervals and then allow to dry for approx. 3 hours.
Step 2
Now you can start spraying the polystyrene in your chosen colour from the edding Permanent Spray range. To achieve an even finish, we recommend spraying several thin layers using horizontal and vertical strokes at a distance of approx. 25 cm.
Step 3
The paint will take approx. 30 minutes to dry completely and then you can go ahead and decorate your home with splashes of colour.
