We opted for soft pastel tones, such as pastel yellow, pastel rose, pastel blue and pastel green. Step-by-step

Step 1

Pick a variety of gloss paint markers for your design. In our example, we used white (colour code 049), pastel yellow (135), pastel rose (138) and pastel green (137). Next, download the template and print it out.

Step 2

Before using a gloss paint marker, you need to activate it as follows: shake the marker vigorously with the cap on, then remove the cap, place the nib on a piece of absorbent paper and pump it up and down gently a few times until ink appears in the nib. Now you’re ready to get started (and, after use, always replace the cap securely and store the marker horizontally.) Place the template next to your work area and secure the makeup bag to the table with the adhesive tape to prevent it slipping.

Step 3

Prime the white marker. Once it is ready, write the wording on the pouch, taking things slowly. It’s best to start with the outer contours of the letters. You can embellish your design with tiny pictures and graphic motifs.

Step 4

Wait until the white ink is completely dry before continuing with your chosen colour and filling in the letters. In our example, we used pastel green.

Step 5

We used pastel yellow for the words “Taking Care”, but it’s up to you what colour you go for. edding gloss paint markers are beautifully opaque on any dark surface, so go ahead and pick any colour in the range!
