Add some bunting for a striking 3D look and customise it for the specific occasion to give a really personal touch. When designing your cards, you can rely on the edding 1200 metallic colourpen for the perfect result. Step-by-step

Step 1

For the card: Cut and fold the coloured art paper to the size you want.

For the bunting: Cut the paper in various colours into elongated diamond shapes each measuring 6-7cm in length and about 3cm at the widest point (you can download a template for the outline from our templates section). Don’t worry if the flags differ in size.

Step 2

Fold the flags in half (so you can secure them to the bunting string later). Decorate the front of the flags using an edding 1200 metallic colourpen. Creative tip: draw the word ‘TODAY’S’ in large letters, or perhaps some delicate patterns as shown in our examples. Fasten the flags to the string by gluing the front and the back of the folded flap around the string. Stick the bunting to the card using sticky tape; you could tie a bow at either end to add even more character.

Step 3

If you like, why not add a few extra words or design the front of the card using the edding 1200 metallic pen. Write your special message inside to finish your truly personalised greetings card! Top tip: if you store your fibre pen horizontally after use, you'll be able to enjoy the intense colour and pigmented ink for longer. This also helps prevent the nib from clogging.
