Step-by-step
Step 1
Repainting metal garden chairs is quick and easy to do. The chair must be dry, clean and free from traces of grease or rust. Remove any rust with sandpaper. For even better adhesion, an enhanced sheen and protection against rust, we recommend you spray the surface first with edding Universal Primer.
Step 2
After leaving it to dry for a short time, you can now get down to applying your favourite colour. Choose a colour from the edding Permanent Spray range and spray the large areas using both horizontal and vertical strokes at a distance of approx. 25 cm. This will result in an even finish – and even those hard-to-reach corners and edges will be easy to paint!
Step 3
When the paint is completely dry, it’s time to reintroduce these fabulous new-look items into your feel-good garden. To give your garden accessories extra protection, apply a finishing coat of edding Clear Lacquer.
