Ideas and inspiration for a bullet journal cover

Appointments, to-do lists, ideas for your next trip... there’s space in your bullet journal for everything that's important to you. As well as personalising your lists and calendar pages, you can also make the front cover totally eye-catching by adding your own unique design. With the right cover, you can also lend a travel journal a custom look. Here's a lovely example that will appeal to fans of camper vans and caravans. edding fineliners and fibre pens are perfect for colouring in the picture in whatever way you choose and for adding your very own personal touches. You can transform other images in exactly the same way.

Step-by-step

Step 1

To design the front cover, you'll need a selection of edding 1200 colour pens and the edding 1800 profipen in your chosen colours. The fibre pens are also available in high-quality metal boxes containing 10 or 20 pens. First, download and print out the image of the camper van.

Step 2

The fine writing tip of the edding 1800 is ideal for adding small details and finer touches.

Step 3

Next, use the fibre pens to colour in the van however you wish. In our example, we drew patterns of delicate lines, but you can colour in the whole area instead – it's entirely up to you.

Step 4

Once you've finished designing, cut out the motif and glue it onto your bullet journal or travel diary. And there you have it – your front cover is finished!
