Step-by-step
Step 1
When designing your postcard, choose acrylic markers in your favourite colours. We’ve got a wide variety of card motifs available for download. When you're ready to transfer the design, place the template over the postcard-sized acrylic painting paper and go over the outlines with a sharp pencil so the image is pressed through to the page below. Next, trace over the outlines in pencil to make them more visible.
Step 2
Before you start painting, you need to activate all the markers. Now it's time to use the edding 5100 medium acrylic marker. Once the pink areas are dry, use pastel yellow to colour in the horse and the word "HEY".
Step 3
The edding 5000 is a highly versatile acrylic marker. Its broad chisel tip means not only can you colour in large areas quickly, you can also add fine details with the narrow edge. When it comes to special effects, lettering and details you want to accentuate, the acrylic 3D double liner works really well.
