Step 1
Prime the pots and decorative balls as specified by the paint manufacturer's instructions and leave to dry.

Step 2
We've provided a template suggestion at the end of these instructions showing decorative patterns and lettering. With the aid of the carbon paper and a pencil, you can transfer the pattern to the clay pots and decorative balls, or simply make up your own designs. Tip: Look in poetry books or on the internet to find great quotes about spring.

Step 3
Finally, fill in the pattern or lettering with the edding 4000 matt paint marker. Or, if you prefer, select the edding 4040 matt paint marker with the thinner nib.
