Step-by-step

Step 1
You can see all the materials at a glance in our photo. You’ll need edding universal primer (colour code 996) and white (922) from the permanent spray range.

Step 2
First, take the section of wood and sketch the houses on it, then saw it into smaller lengths according to the size of the houses. Our houses measure approx. 12, 16, 20 and 25 cm in height.

Step 3
The next step is to cut the sloping roofs. For your own safety, you should wear protective gloves and safety goggles. After that, smooth out the surfaces with the sander.

Step 4
Now take the cordless drill and drill the holes for the candles in the centre at the top.

Step 5
Use the masking tape to cover any part of the house that you don’t want to get paint on.

Step 6
Cover your working area completely with the protective sheet. Shake the spray can for 3 minutes, remove the sprayhead and prise off the safety ring with the aid of the screwdriver. To ensure the paint adheres evenly, we recommend you paint the wood with the universal primer first. You can find our essential tips for perfect spraying in the Spray basics section of our website. When the primer is completely dry, follow with a coat of white permanent spray. Once the paint is dry, carefully remove the masking tape from the wooden house and it’s ready for you to insert the candle.
