Step-by-step

Step 1
The edding 3000 permanent marker is perfect for painting with. It’s waterproof and smudge-proof, so you can place your pumpkins outside.

Step 2
You can use permanent markers to paint straight onto the actual pumpkin. Alternatively, first mark out your face design using a pencil.

Step 3
Whether you go for a humorous look or a spooky effect, decorate your pumpkin using the permanent marker in whatever way you choose. If you’re using a Hokkaido pumpkin, do not cook or eat it once you’ve painted it.

Step 4
Decorative gourds in all manner of different shapes and sizes are also perfect as Halloween decorations.

Step 5
If your permanent marker runs out of ink or no longer contains enough to work properly, refill the marker quickly and neatly using the permanent marker refill service.
