Charming eggshell candle holders

As Easter is a time for cooking and baking, we often find we have lots of empty eggshells left over. It seems such a waste to throw them away when they can be transformed into wonderful Easter tea light holders to light up your spring table.

The trick when making these candle holders is to paint the inside of the eggshell in gold to give a shimmering matt glow that makes the candlelight so beautiful. This is easy to achieve by using an edding matt paint marker.
