Make sure you have all your materials to hand before you start. You can see everything you need at a glance in our photo. You’ll need the edding 1200 metallic colour pen in silver (colour code 054), metallic blue (073) and metallic violet (078).
Start by drawing simple clouds in three different sizes using the pencil, then cut them out. Next, draw a heart shape to use as a template for the balloons. Place the heart shape on the coloured sheets and cut out three hearts (all the same size).
Fold the hearts down the centre and glue together two hearts as shown to make a 3D shape. Arrange the heart balloons on the card and glue them in place. Use the silver edding 1200 metallic colour pen to draw the ropes for the balloon, and use violet and blue for the baskets.
The silver pen is also good for adding small extra touches to enhance the 3D look. And there you have it – your Valentine’s card is finished!
