Geometric cushions

Hand painted cushions for fans of polygon designs

A comfortable cushion makes those relaxing evenings on the sofa so much cosier. We love polygon patterns, so we’re going to show you how to paint a cushion cover with a geometric design using edding textile markers. The markers come in two stroke widths and a choice of 20 varied, vibrant colours – so everyone can choose their favourites. Textile markers and pens are ideal for all manner of light-coloured fabrics, including cotton, silk and linen. If you prepare a cardboard template for the pattern, it’ll be easy to transfer onto the fabric and it will also prevent the ink bleeding through to the back of the fabric. Painting and drawing with textile products is so easy that even novices can quickly get impressive results. Just follow our simple step-by-step guide. When you’ve finished designing, iron the cushion cover on the no-steam setting and your design will be resistant to washes up to 60°C.
