Step-by-step
Step 1
You can see everything you need at a glance in our photo. The edding 1255 calligraphy pens are available in three stroke widths and five colours. Pick the most suitable colour and the nib width you work best with.
Step 2
The templates featuring the numbers can be downloaded from our website. If you prefer, you can draw or write freehand instead. Cut a number from the sheet and position it inside the paper bag to act as your template.
Step 3
The number should be clearly visible through the paper bag so that you can simply transfer the motif using the calligraphy pen. The ink is permanent and quick-drying, so there's no need to worry about smudging.
Step 4
Here’s another picture of the bag with the number 6, this time in more detail.
Step 5
If you want to write the numbers longhand, it's best to hold the pen in the same position the whole time without rotating it. That way, you'll succeed at achieving a calligraphic style.
Step 6
Now all you have to do is fill the little bags with gifts, tie them up with suitable twine and hang them up as a display!
