Step-by-step

Step 1
First, clean the items thoroughly, ensuring they are free of dust and grease. If necessary, wipe over with methylated spirits.

Step 2
With the aid of the stencil, use a pencil to sketch the letters on the pot.

Step 3
Next, colour in the letters using the porcelain brushpen. For fine lines, it’s best to hold the pen at a very steep angle and use only the tip. If you make a mistake, remove it immediately with a damp cloth or a cotton bud before the ink dries.

Step 4
Once the design is ready and you’re sure you don’t want to make any more changes, place the pots on a cold oven shelf and slide it into a pre-heated oven. Bake at 160°C for 25 minutes and leave in the oven to cool afterwards.

Step 5
After baking, your plant pots will be dishwasher-safe. Insert the twigs into the floral foam, arrange them so they hang attractively and place in the pot. Fold the banknotes concertina-style and secure to the twigs with wire – and there, you’ve finished!
