Step-by-step
Step 1
You can see all the materials you need at a glance in our photo. For this idea, you’ll need our edding 15 Funtastics fibre pens for children with a fine nib. They come in a box of 12 or 18 colours.
Step 2
First, think of lots of ideas for lovely animal pictures that you can draw. Alternatively, you can also search through our colouring pages on the website. There you will find numerous motifs to download. Then stick coloured paper on one side of the blank cards, so they are completely covered. Pick your favourite colours from the set of pens and draw your animal figures on the pages of the book. Remember to always draw the animals as identical pairs!
Step 3
Cut out the animal shapes. Using the coloured paper, cut out or punch some extra background features for the animal pictures – this could be a sun, some strips of grass, little stars or hearts. When you have got all the parts ready, stick the animals onto the cards together with the background.
