Step-by-step

Step 1
First of all, use the letter templates on our website to help you make a stencil out of cardboard with the individual letters you wish to use in the size you want. Next, cut out the letters with a craft knife or scissors.

Step 2
Place the first letter on the canvas and shield any areas which are to remain unpainted with masking paper and adhesive tape. Starting at the top, now spray your chosen colour evenly onto the exposed areas using both horizontal and vertical strokes. Leave to dry for a short while, then place the next letter in position and, as before, mask all other areas. Continue in the same way until the canvas is finished.

Step 3
After a short drying time you may wish to give your canvas art extra protection by painting the whole surface with edding Clear Lacquer (matt or glossy), using both horizontal and vertical strokes. This will allow you to enjoy your work of art for years to come.
