Step-by-step

Step 1
You can see the Colour Happy Big Box and its wide range of contents in our photo. We’re confident that this box offers something for every craft lover, with something to suit every taste. The main pen you’ll be using for your garden planner is the edding 55 fineliner.

Step 2
Decide on your page layout and sketch it out lightly in pencil first. In our example, we spread the month across two pages, with columns for Monday to Sunday and little boxes underneath to represent the days of the month. You can decorate the spread however you want – with your favourite flowers, symbols or suitable garden motifs. Let your imagination take you to wherever you want to go.

Step 3
Use the edding 55 fineliner to go over all the pencil lines, colour in a few pictures or reinforce certain lines. It’s available in 16 colours, so get designing in whatever bright and cheerful colours you decide to go for.

Step 4
Thanks to the ultra-fine nib of the edding 55, even detailed motifs such as dainty flowers are no problem. With the edding 1340 brush pen, or other fibre pen, you can then add as many extra touches of colour as you want.
