Handmade alphabet greeting card

Make a designer card with hand lettering

There are umpteen occasions for sending cards – whether as a stylish invitation, for a birthday, a wedding or simply a friendly greeting to let someone know you’re thinking of them. It’s a good idea to keep a small stock of handmade cards so you always have a suitable one spare. We think hand lettering is really lovely for cards, and to do this we recommend our “must-have pen”, the edding 2185 gel roller. The gel roller works well for fine lettering and drawing on almost any type of paper and is available in a range of shimmering metallic shades. We designed our card with dancing letters and tried out different styles of hand lettering. They say that practice makes perfect – and hand lettered greetings cards are a great way to practice because you can play around with different styles to your heart's content!
