Step-by-step
Step 1
Print out the template in the size you want, enlarging it if you need to. We used the edding 4095 chalk marker which comes in nine vibrant shades.
Step 2
First you need to activate your chalk marker: shake the marker vigorously with the cap still on. Place the nib on a piece of absorbent paper and pump the nib up and down a few times until ink appears in the nib. After using your marker, always put the cap back on securely and store horizontally.
Step 3
Stick the individual sections of the template together as precisely as possible and then use adhesive tape to stick them behind the window. You’ll now be able to see the template clearly through the glass and you’ll be able to transfer all the details onto the window without any problem using the white marker.
Step 4
Once you’ve done that, remove the template and colour in the individual shapes.
Step 5
Design the football however you choose – in bright stripes or just a single colour. If you make a mistake or change your mind, you can make corrections at any time by wiping with a damp cloth.
Step 6
In our example, we’ve gone for a multi-coloured look – just right for a football party in a riot of colour. Simply let your imagination run wild.
