Step-by-step

Step 1
In our example, we’ve chosen to use X multi markers in red and dark grey. We’ve also created a template which you can easily download and copy onto your bag using a pencil.

Step 2
Before starting your design, you’ll first need to activate your X multi markers. To do this, shake each of the markers with the cap still on until you can hear the small ball rattling inside the marker pen. Next, carefully press the nib up and down a few times on a piece of scrap paper until the ink fills the tip. You can also use the piece of paper to try out a few practice marks. Once you’re ready to go, start by colouring in the lettering using your dark grey marker.

Step 3
Now add the heart using your red marker. Leave the ink to dry completely – and that’s it! It’s time to hit the shops with your brand-new bag.
