Step-by-step

Step 1
Select your favourite colours. For best results, start by wiping the crockery with a cloth and methylated spirits to remove any fingerprints and dust. Think of a design for your crockery item.

Step 2
If you’re working with several colours, we recommend letting the first colour dry before continuing with the next.

Step 3
If you make a mistake, simply wipe it off with a damp cloth or cotton bud. You can continue to make corrections to your design right up until the baking stage.

Step 4
It’s fun getting creative with friends. You can even bounce ideas off each other.

Step 5
You can add truly individual designs to plates and cups, such as this pink chequered pattern.

Step 6
Porcelain or glazed ceramic candlesticks or vases can also be decorated to your heart’s content. What’s more, the flexible nib means you can even draw lines of text or detailed motifs to great effect.

Step 7
Once you’ve finished your design, leave to dry for 15 minutes. Once it’s dry, preheat your oven to 160°C, place on a cold oven shelf and bake for 25 minutes. Leave in the oven to cool afterwards. After baking, your design will be dishwasher-proof.
