Step-by-step

Step 1

Simply make a template out of cardboard or paper with a motif of your choice and cut it out using a cutter or scissors. Lay the templates randomly on the gift-wrapping you are designing.

Step 2

Next, apply paint to the paper around the template using separate bursts of spray of varying duration. Leave to dry for a short while before moving the templates around. Now repeat the process with a different colour, or several more colours, to make an attractive pattern.
