In our example, we used the edding 751 gloss paint marker in pastel blue (colour code 139) and pastel yellow (135).
Before using a gloss paint marker, you need to activate it: Shake the marker vigorously with the cap still on, then remove the cap, place the nib on a piece of absorbent paper and pump it up and down a few times until ink appears in the nib. (And don’t forget to always store the marker horizontally after use.)
Now you’re ready to start adding your space motifs to the black plastic ear cups. You’ll find that pastel colours show up particularly well against the dark background. If you want to use multiple colours, always let one colour dry for a little while before continuing with the next.
