Step-by-step

Step 2

First, sharpen your construction pencil using the integral sharpener.

Step 3

Using your construction pencil, draw a series of vertical and horizontal lines across your panel of wood. Later on, the holes for your wardrobe’s hooks will be drilled at the points where these lines intersect. A folding ruler is very useful for measuring out your lines and making sure they are perpendicular to each other.

Step 4

Drill and countersink a hole at every intersection point using your drill. You will also need to drill a small hole in each corner of your wooden panel ready to attach it to the wall.

Step 5

Position the wooden panel correctly against the wall and mark out the drill holes using your construction pencil. Thanks to the pencil’s long nib, it should be easy to insert the nib through the holes in the panel.
