DIY Easter treat bags

A sweet last-minute idea for mini Easter surprises

Easter is the time when the first spring flowers start to emerge, birds begin to twitter and excited children eagerly await the Easter egg hunt. But let’s not forget that we adults also love to receive colourful chocolate eggs and other little treats, especially when they’re lovingly packaged. Pretty Easter gift bags increase the anticipation of what’s inside and make them all the more exciting. We made our gift bags from simple, everyday materials found around the home, so it’s possible to make them even at the last minute. To craft this cute bunny in a flash, you will need coffee filter papers, pieces of ribbon and edding gloss paint markers for drawing faces on the bags. The ink in the markers is completely opaque, so the design shows up really well – even on dark surfaces. Alternatively, you can make the bag by folding a sheet of paper. Just follow our step-by-step instructions.
