Step-by-step
Step 1
If you’d like to use all six metallic colours, we recommend the handy set of 6 edding 1340 metallic brush pens. Print out the template and reduce or enlarge to the right size depending on the size of card you’re making. Using the light-coloured carbon paper you can easily transfer the template to your card. Next, colour in all details in your chosen colours.
Step 2
To make your leaf tendril design as vibrant-looking as possible, colour in the outer edge of the leaves in silver and the inside in blue metallic.
Step 3
We wrote the inscription “Merry Christmas” in red metallic.
Step 4
After leaving to dry for a short while, emphasise the lettering by adding shading in silver.
Step 5
Even on light-coloured paper the metallic ink of the brush pens really comes into its own, as you can see in this photo. The combination of classic shades with yellow or pink allows for special effects.
