Step-by-step

Step 1
Get all your materials ready before you start. To make your Christmas letterhead, you’ll need permanent spray in rich gold, plus the edding 1800 profipen.

Step 2
First of all, print out the template and cut out the squirrel shape accurately using the craft knife or sharp scissors.

Step 3
Before you start spraying, cover your working area completely with the protective sheet. Place the stencil with the squirrel cutout on the tracing paper in the desired position and carefully cover up the rest of the paper so that when you start spraying, only the squirrel is painted gold. In our Spray basics section, we’ve got handy tips on how to achieve a perfect spraying technique. Start by shaking the spray can for 3 minutes, then remove the sprayhead and use the screwdriver to prise off the safety ring.

Step 4
After spraying, allow the paper to dry thoroughly. Next, remove the stencil with care and you’re ready to start writing your Christmas letters.
