Step-by-step

Step 1
First of all you need to sew the bag. The easiest way is to use a sewing machine, although SnapPap is also suitable for hand sewing. Sew the bag together on three sides, leaving one side open, (this will be the top of the bag).

Step 2
Print out the star stencil on A4 paper and cut out the star shape in the centre. Place the stencil over your finished bag. Make sure you cover any areas that you want to keep free of paint.

Step 3
Now it’s time to get spraying. It’s advisable to spray outdoors, with a large protective cover placed underneath. We recommend spraying rapidly with both horizontal and vertical strokes to ensure the paint covers more evenly.

Step 4
Allow the paint to dry thoroughly. After about half an hour, you can carefully remove the paper stencil.

Step 5
Hints and tips: If you want to use this Christmas bag as a gift, why not make a small matching gift tag out of SnapPap and use an edding gloss paint marker to write a personal greeting on it?
