Step-by-step
Step 1
In our example, we used edding gloss paint markers in pastel shades, but you can choose any colours you like from the gloss paint marker range. Our template includes all the elements you need for this decorative idea. First, print out the template. To make the little bird, cut out a strip of wrapping paper like the one on the template.
Step 2
Before using a gloss paint marker, you need to activate it as follows: shake the marker vigorously with the cap on, then remove the cap and pump the marker a few times on absorbent paper until ink appears in the nib. Write your message or greeting on the strip of paper. After use, always replace the cap securely and store the marker horizontally.
Step 3
Cut one end of the paper strip in the shape of a beak, and the other end like a bird's tail.
Step 4
Tie the paper strip in a knot.
Step 5
Now use the pastel yellow gloss paint marker to draw on a beak and eyes. And there you have it – your little bird is ready!
Step 6
You can also create lovely wraparound labels for wine bottles from the brown paper, decorated with the aid of gloss paint markers. You'll find these cute bunny motifs included in our template. Using carbon paper to help you, it's easy to transfer the template onto the wrapping paper. To finish off, stick on a small wooden ball for the tail.
