Schritt für Schritt
Break the eggs carefully across the middle, taking care to ensure the edges aren’t too jagged. Broken off pieces of eggshell can be glued back on using a hot glue gun. Rinse the empty shells thoroughly to provide the ideal surface for the ink to adhere to. Alternatively, you can buy eggs that have already been blown out. Carefully break these in half across the middle.
Using the activated gold matt paint marker, paint all the way around the inside of the shells and allow to dry. Start by activating a new edding matt paint marker as follows: Shake the marker firmly with the cap still on. Place the nib on the scrap paper and carefully pump it up and down a few times until ink fills the nib. Start by writing a few test strokes on the scrap paper. Always replace the cap securely after use.
Place a tea light inside each shell. Decorative tip: fill the jars with moss, pressing down firmly. Place your Easter candle on top. And there you have it – your festive Easter decoration is now finished!
