Hamburg's longest table for democracy

On 21 June 2025, over 100 different organizations set a strong signal for a diverse, open society with Hamburg’s longest table for democracy, diversity and cohesion at Rathausmarkt.  

Together with the Stiftung :do foundation we made a statement for democracy, for diversity and for creative interaction. The journey and challenges of refugees and migrants were brought to life at a long table. It was a place of exchange, inspiration and dialogue. In designing a Togetherness Wall, we invited people to become part of a living work of art using edding sprays and markers. Every paint mark and every colour was an expression of community and cohesion. The result was an artwork that shows: art and creativity connect. Diversity strengthens. Community lives.  

Numerous people took this opportunity to make a creative statement, exchange ideas and to find out more about the foundation.
