We would like to fill this position as soon as possible to strengthen the team at the Wunstorf site.

Your role:

•  
  • You will be responsible for sales figures and profit margins in the German branches of our international retailers and will support Key Account Management for the modern mass market channel
  • You will act as the main contact for these retailers and coordinate the internal and external retailer interfaces
  • You will prepare and conduct annual appraisals
  • You will work closely with our international Key Account team and implement the international product listings in Germany and also draw up local product listings
  • You will conduct annual appraisals in consultation with Trade Marketing and national and international Key Account Management
  • You will report directly to the Sales and Marketing Director of edding Vertrieb GmbH

Your profile:

  • You will have extensive key account management experience within a brand company in the consumer goods industry and will be familiar with the requirements of retailers operating in various end consumer channels (e.g. specialist shops, food, DIY, mail order, catalogue and contract business)
  • You will have experience in coordinating and implementing international marketing concepts and be enthusiastic about writing instruments
  • You will have excellent negotiation skills and a good command of written and spoken English
  • You will be a sociable and outgoing person, able to work in a team and have a customer and service orientated approach to your work
  • You will be a positive thinker, used to working independently and to 'grabbing the bull by the horns'
  • You will have a clean driving licence and be willing to travel throughout Germany on a regular basis
