The Magnificent Six

edding expands its range of colorpens with the launch of six trendy metallic colours

As the days start to draw in, for many this heralds a time for art-and-craft activities. This year, as the autumn season approaches, edding is offering artists added fun and sparkle with the launch of six metallic newcomers. These bullet-tip colorpens offer countless possibilities in writing and design. And, thanks to their opaque metallic ink, they produce equally good results on light or dark-coloured paper.  Fans of silver and gold will take a particular shine to the new range: until now, these two shades have only been available at edding in the form of gel pens or paint markers. Extremely good value for money, these new colorpens now represent a simple alternative. That's because the new metallic pens are so incredibly easy to use: just take off the cap for instant, brilliant results!

From the initial sketch to the final layout, the edding 1200 is an ideal tool - not just for amateur art-and-crafters, but for professional graphic designers and illustrators too. What's more, these six newcomers are a brilliant addition to the range: not only is the handy edding 1200 now available in a total of 30 different colours, but - in combination with edding's other innovative fibre-tipped products (such as the edding 1255 with a calligraphy tip, or the edding 1340 brushpen) - the series now caters for all design possibilities.

Whilst the established colours in the popular 1200 series are available from shops in sets of 10 or 20, this new metallic six-pack comes in its own special packaging: the attractive, high-quality metal box in a modern design is not just nice to look at - it is also a brilliant gift idea for young and old alike. It goes without saying, of course, that each colour can also be bought individually.

The edding 1200 metallic has a stroke width of 1-3 mm. As with all colorpens in this series, the ink is water-based. Because the ink in these new pens is pigmented, it is recommended that the pens be stored horizontally when not in use.
