Key Account Manager (w/f) End User Consultant

The success of our edding and Legamaster products, which are sold worldwide, is based on quality, capacity for innovation and customer focus. Consequently, 'edding' is now more than just a synonym for markers. 'edding' is the marker and writing-implements specialist and the felt-tip and fibre-tip pen specialist.

We are looking to appoint two people in the following positions at our German distribution company as soon as possible in order to strengthen the sales force at the Wunstorf site

 

Key Account Manager (m/f)

End User Consultant

 

1.) Area of responsibility/ Northern region:

Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Bremen, Lower Saxony, parts of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

2.) Area of responsibility/ Western region:

North Rhine Westphalia, southern areas of Lower Saxony

 

Principal tasks - end users

  •  
    • Acquisition of commercial end users and public institutions/authorities
    • Presentation of our edding and Legamaster product groups (UHU)
    • Support with tendering procedures, drafting of VOL-compliant tenders 
    • Establishing contact with purchasing departments and application areas, such as production, quality management, environment officers, trainers, facilities managers, logistics, etc.
    • Analysis of actual situation and development of proposed approaches
    • Listing of our products, squeezing out of competitor products
    • Industry-oriented marketing of special products
    • Application advice and problem solving for end users
    • Generation of offers for our retailers 
    • Generation of information for our sales and marketing divisions

Principle tasks - Retailers

  •  
    • Close contact with retailer sales departments/feedback from end users
    • Product-related handling of tenders  
    • Follow-up on quotes and tenders 
    • Holding of retailer customer events (in-house exhibitions, lectures, roadshows, etc.)
    • Holding of seminars and product-training sessions 

    General tasks

    • Close cooperation with Product Development in the discovery of new products and applications
    • Marketing support (identification of market trends, help with generating general advertising campaigns and concepts for end users)
    • Involvement in regional and national trade fairs 
    • Efficient planning of appointments and trips at home office
    • Real-time generation of visit reports
    • Close cooperation/networking with dealer KAM
  • Your profile:
  •  
    • You will have extensive experience in looking after the key accounts of a brand company or a commercial company in the consumer goods industry and will be familiar with the requirements of commercial and institutional end users in terms of purchasing and production
    • You will have experience in coordinating and implementing marketing concepts
    • You will have excellent negotiation skills and be enthusiastic about our products
    • You will be a sociable and outgoing person, able to work in a team and have a customer and service orientated approach to your work
    • You will be a positive thinker, used to working independently and to 'grabbing the bull by the horns'
    • You will be supported and mentored by our team leaders who will accompany you on trips on a regular basis
    • You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • You will have a clean driving licence and be willing to make regular trips to your respective area
    • Good knowledge of English desirable
