A major plus for the dealer is that all edding products can be presented in a clearly laid-out, yet compact fashion. What’s more, because a lot of attention has been focussed on product labelling, customers can view and identify the entire edding range in next to no time.

The edding TOWER certainly lives up to its name: the tallest model stands a full 2 metres in height. Other models are available too, ranging from 170 to 136 centimetres high – to suit the needs of the particular shop in question. It’s difficult for any customer to miss the edding TOWER, even though it is just 50 cm wide. The TOWER is also good at self-promotion, captivating customers with its striking design and extraordinary versatility.

Two particularly eye-catching features of the edding TOWER are the larger-than-life mock-up of an edding 3000 or 750 marker, illuminated and attached to the side of the TOWER, and the edding sign (also illuminated). With a host of integral components to choose from, dealers can stock the Tower to suit their own needs, tailoring options to fit the available floor space. It is also very easy to join two or more Towers together using connecting elements.

For dealers wishing to present markers and pens horizontally, there are 16-section modules or chutes available. For edding products that can also be displayed vertically, dealers can choose between perforated trays, tumblers or large boxes. And to make sure that no ones gets in a muddle, but can find whatever marker they are looking for just like that, colour-coded labels are provided to identify the various modules.

The TOWER’s configuration can be changed and changed again at any moment simply by unhooking the modules and inserting alternative modules into the perforated back. No skill is needed. But that’s not all: test pads of paper and hooks for blister cards are also provided. Dealers can even use “promotion tray frames” to present posters or draw attention to specific products. The Tower can even be adapted for those store owners wishing to offer blister cards, either exclusively or alongside other products.

Top honour for the edding Tower: in June last year, the shop-in-shop system won gold in the “Publishing, Stationery & Leisure” category at the “POPAI European Awards 2009”. In the display sector, a POPAI award is the highest accolade there is. The company that made the edding Tower is GKS & Arndt Display in Hamburg. Expressing delight at receiving the award, Angelika Schumacher, Marketing Manager at edding International GmbH, said: “We are thrilled to have won this award. We feel this is vindication of our efforts to develop customer-friendly, design-oriented displays”.
