Christmas cards

with stunning colour gradients

These Christmas cards with their fabulous colour gradients have a real wow factor and are sure to be well received. To decorate these cards, we added festive baubles in all manner of colours and shades. Designs like these couldn’t be easier – thanks to the new Colour Happy Box! The box contains 20 edding 1340 brushpens and the ingenious new Brushpen Colour Mixer, a brilliant tool capable of creating up to 190 colour shades from just 20 standard colours.

Here’s what you’ll need to make your Christmas cards:
  • Colour Happy Box containing 20 edding 1340 brushpens (the Brushpen Colour Mixer is included)
  • edding 1800 fineliner
  • several sheets of paper or pre-folded cards
  • compass, scissors or craft knife, ruler
Step-by-step instructions:
  1. Cut out the cards to the right size for folding, or buy pre-made cards
  2. Sketch the baubles with the aid of the compass to ensure they are all the same size. Trace over the lines with the edding 1800 fineliner
  3. Mix colours any way you want using the Colour Mixer. Hints and tips on using the Brushpen Colour Mixer can be found here:
  4. Colour in the baubles to your heart’s content; you can make just about any colour combination
  5. The tip of the brushpen is ideal for drawing fine lines. The words “Merry Xmas” (or whatever Christmas greeting you choose) can look very effective if you vary the stroke width
