From now on, not only can you talk to your plants: you can also write with them! It’s all possible thanks to the Living Pen - a ball-point pen with an integral see-through capsule, complete with seedling, on the end of the barrel.

And you don’t need to have green fingers either. For, when all is said and done, it’s incredibly easy to nurture your little green shoot. As well as providing adequate sunlight and protection from the cold, all you need to do is water the tender young plant every two months. Do this by simply removing the capsule from the end of the barrel and immersing your seedling in 5 mm water for one minute.

And whenever your plant starts to find it a bit of a squash in its “mini greenhouse”, simply transfer your seedling to a pot, where it can take root.

The barrel of the ballpoint pen, developed and distributed by edding, is available in apple green or moss green. The blue ink refill, with a stroke width of 0.5 mm, can be replaced without problem at any time.
