A highlight for highlighting!

When your task is to reduce the content of newspaper articles, lecture notes or conference papers to the bare essentials, the latest solution from edding is right on the button. For, with the launch of the edding retract 34 highlighter, the Ahrensburg-based marker specialist is introducing a text marker with a push-button mechanism - a brilliant and highly colourful new member of the successful retractable marker family. And to push home the point of this new product: the advantage is that, in future, whenever you need to emphasise passages of text, you need only one hand to make your mark. For the first time, you no longer need your other hand to remove and replace the cap, but can keep it free to carry out other tasks.

You’ve got your document and marker in one hand, with the cap and (in many cases) even a ruler in the other: working with a text marker hasn’t always been easy. However, with the introduction of the edding retract 34, the market leader for markers has now come up with a perfect highlighter that presses all the right buttons in the truest sense of the word. This new, highly practical solution has no cap that might otherwise be lost in the heat of the moment. Instead, the edding retract 34 highlighter has a push-button mechanism. Just as with a ball-point pen, you can extend the tip of the text marker simply by pressing the button on the end of the barrel. And, to make sure that the edding retract 34 highlighter does not leave any unwanted highlights once your work is done, the tip can be retracted again with ease. Simply press briefly on the button housed in the clip or slightly raise the clip itself. A new kind of retractable seal system inside the barrel prevents the marker from drying out when the tip is retracted.

With a stroke width of 1.5 to 4 mm and a water-based ink, the edding retract 34 highlighter is suitable for use on almost all types of paper, even fax paper. In total, there are three brilliantly bright colours from which to choose: neon yellow, neon green and neon pink. And, to avoid any mix-up, the colour of the barrel of these high-quality markers matches the colour of the ink.

By the way: it is not only the edding retract 34 highlighter that works “under pressure”. Two further markers also underline edding’s expertise in these much sought-after retractable products. The edding retract 11 permanent marker is the first non-wipe, waterproof marker from edding to have a push-button mechanism. Meanwhile, another member of the retractable marker family is the edding retract 12 whiteboard marker.
