(Ahrensburg, November 2004) “Another! And another!” If joyful cries can be heard from our little ones in the garden as they embark on an egg hunt in pursuit of hidden treasures, it can only mean one thing: it’s Easter time. And, to make sure that grown-ups have an equally cracking good time as their offspring, the art-and-craft experts at edding have once again created a whole batch of ideas that are guaranteed to rule the roost this Easter. Because, thanks to the colourful hobby markers from edding, this Easter you can have cheeky chicks adorning your table, decorating your plant pots, or adding an extra touch to all natural surfaces.
They can’t lay eggs. But you can lay tables - with these amusing chicks, guaranteed to sit nicely on your festively decorated edding table this Easter. Because, all you need is a simple template and the edding 4500 t-shirt marker (stroke width: 2 – 3 mm) or the edding 4600 t-shirt pen (stroke width: 1 mm) to magic up these cute little hens on table cloths and napkins. They’re so easy to make – your friends will think you’ve bought them.

Simply take a piece of card and cut out a large “D” shape. Using it as the chick’s body, draw around it onto the material. Decorate by adding beak, feet and so on, and then iron without steam to fix your design. And there you have it! Your feathered works-of-art will now withstand wash cycles up to 60°C without fading. And one more thing: these small edding magicians “like” cotton best of all – but if you use linen, jute, silk and countless mixed fabrics, they will still leave a lasting impression. The t-shirt markers and pens come in 20 cheerful colours.
By using edding deco markers to create and design those finishing decorative touches, you’ll soon be cock of the walk this Easter. These pens, with their special water-based ink, can be used to decorate any natural surface with ease - be it on terracotta, wood or even eggshell. So, if you can’t get enough of these feathered friends, you can even decorate ordinary eggs this Easter by painting them with pictures of these cute chicks. Or why not use the clever deco pen to add an Easter feel to flowerpots and tubs this spring by drawing a complete brood? Because, without doubt, the edding 4000 and the edding 4040 deco marker always look good, even on terracotta. The marker ink is waterproof and dries to give a silk-matt shine. There are two stroke widths and 12 colours to choose from.
